Environmentally Friendly - Babbs Mill Lake

A great project is underway at Babbs Mill Lake in Solihull. A well known nature reserve and wild life haven, it was established to commemorate the Queens Silver Jubilee.  Fitting then, that following the Queens Diamond Jubilee year, the lake is undergoing an environmental facelift. Installation is planned for :

• a new reed filter bed - over 1000 mtrs deep 
  
• a silt trap
• weir refurbishment

The scheme is to improve the water quality within the lake and enhance the site by creation of a new stream watercourse and wildlife area.

All works will be carried out by HFN's skilled workforce.
