Hard Landscaping

HFN operated as Principle Contractor for the external hardscape works within this project.

A major refurbishement to the flats themselves was undertaken by others.

Majority of works undertaken by HFN's own skilled workforce, including gas points, earthing rods, fire hydrants, drainage and bollards, in co-ordination with lighting and CCTV companies, controlled and monitored by HFN delivered the project to budget and within timescales.

Project Value: £500,000.

HFN were appointed Principle Contractor to undertake the construction of a new churchyard entrance at the south east corner of the public car park, in Knowle

These works involved small scale demolition, site clearance, excavation and filling to foundation trenches, block and stone work construction, hardcore sub-bases to paving’s and tarmacadam works.

HFN were also appointed to conduct phase two of the works programme which involved the excavation of all existing footpaths and installation of new timber edging, sub-bases and tarmacadam followed by new resin bond surfacing works.

Works value £25,000

HFN were appointed as Principle Contractor for this contract.

The contract was split into two number sites, West Mede Shopping Centre and Four Closes Square

HFN were appointed as a nominated sub-contractor to Connaught’s by Sandwell Homes.

• Extensive hard landscaping works undertaken adjacent to three blocks of flats
• Approximately 1,600 square metres of Tegula block paving and 2,500 square metres of macadam works undertaken
• Macadam works undertaken to create 3 car parks, in individual phases, to comply with the requirements of the residents
• Extensive white lining undertaken throughout the site to full Highways specification
• Contract completed on time and to the satisfaction of Sandwell Homes.
